Atami

Ito・Izu Kogen

Ito is a famous hot spring resort town and there are many historical buildings. It's warm climate throughout a year and you can enjoy seasonal flowers at many spots. There are Japanese traditional Ryokan as well as modern resort hotels. Izu Kogen is the only resort area in Izu peninsula and popular sightseeing destination with many small museums and the Jogasaki Coast.

Atagawa・Hokkawa・Inatori・Kawazu

Atagawa boasts abundant hot springs and Hokkawa is a hot spring town where you can spend quietly. Inatori is famous for seafood such as red fish, abalones and lobster. Kawazu is already famous for the earlest blooming cherry blossoms in outlying area of Tokyo. There are about 8,000 cherry trees and during the period, the town are colored in cherry blossoms.

Shimoda

This is the spot of the opening place of Japan's diplomatic relations to other countries. It's a coexistence of nostalgic city and beautiful seaside resort area. There are many attractive beaches such as Shirahama Ohama beach and you can also enjoy seafood.

Shuzenji

Shuzenji is often called "Little Kyoto" as there are many historic sites and has a elegant atmosphere. It's a perfetc place for stroll such as bamboo forest path and criss-crossing red-lacquered pedestrian bridgets along Katsuragawa river.
There are also foot baths and souvenir shops nearby and you can feel an ancient town.

Ieyasuno-Yu (Foot bath)
It's a free foot bath in front of Atami station. The hot spring water is flushed after 16:00 and staff will clean it every morning. A towel is sold at a vending machine (100 yen) so you can enjoy casually.

Shirahama Beach
It is the largest beach on the Izu Peninsula which is about 800m long from north and south. It is a popular beach where the sea of emerald green waters and white sands combine. It becomes crowded every summer.
